Each regular-course session is composed of 8-weeks, with 3-hours of instruction per week. Additionally, students have access to open-studio hours during their 8-week course session.
The cost of each 8-week class includes instruction, access to equipment, use of studio glazes, and firing space for up to 20lbs of class work (10lbs of bisque firing & 10lbs of glaze firing). Students will need to bring or purchase their own tools and clay. Additional firing space is available for a fee.
It is not possible to provide make-ups of missed-classes. However, all students are welcome to use the studio during open-studio hours.
Basic safety procedures will be explained at the beginning of each course and must be strictly adhered to. Any further questions about procedure or use of equipment may be addressed to any instructor or staff member. All regular session courses are designed for adults. Teens may be accepted into the program on a case-by-case basis, provided they are mature and responsible enough to abide by all safety standards. Please contact the studio before enrolling any persons under the age of 18 in a class.
Open-studio hours reflect mid-week hours that Red Ox has staff members present and that classes are not in-session. Hours may change as courses are added or removed from the schedule.
