In the introductory to wheel throwing course, you will focus on fundamentals, such as centering clay, raising the walls, and shaping basic cylindrical forms to create cups, bowls, bottles and jars. Basic glazing techniques, use of slips, and under glazes will also be covered.

 

Intermediate and advanced-level courses focus on refining your throwing skills. You will learn to center, pull, and raise walls more effectively. In addition to learning how to view forms in a more critical and constructive manner, we will also delve deeper into glazing and firing processes.
